On February 23, 2020, father and son duo Greg and Travis McMichael, with neighbor William “Roddy” Bryan, confronted a known, serial felon (Amaud Arbery) in the act of terrorizing and burglarizing the McMichaels’ neighborhood. Arbery charged the McMichaels and in the struggle over a shotgun, Arbery was accidentally shot and killed in the life and death struggle.
